Not sure if metagaming from reading the last play report sent them back to the lab, but the party decided to take another stab at getting evidence. Not sure how I feel about that. When I wrote the comment I suspect led them back, I wondered if I was giving too much away, but at the same time, this is how I wanted it to go...
