I figure I did a pretty good job roleplaying a politician since the players all hated the character by about halfway through. This discussion of the local issues of the Vale did a lot to update people on what's going on and make them think. Not a bad session.

Searching for more information about the lay of the land around the bugbear crag, the party ends up ambushing a patrol, but when the ambush doesn't get surprise, the battle is far more even than intended.
